Future Technology will always be around, because it is what humans will predict the kind of tech we will have in the future. Since the future is inevitable, Humans have estimated the time when this tech will appear, most likely in the next few years, decades, and centuries.

1. Flying Cars
Its going to happen. Honestly, eventually, its going to happen… Eventually, but definite someday. Flying cars appear to be in sketchs at the moment as people continue to shout: “Hey its the year 2015, wheres my flying car like in The Jetsons or Back To the Future?”
Well, scientists continue to study the possibility of such vehicles, and in the future, you may just be zooming high above the city in a floating limo.

2. Techno Contacts
At the moment, scientists speculate that around the years of 2025-2031… or even earlier, we will have contact lenses that will have such abilities as powerful sight, night vision and even (although extremely unlikely) Laser Vison and Xray! Now I am especially excited about this one. Because I might just be able to figure out what is going on behind that mysterious wall in the school.

3. Hypersonic Trains
Today, Magnet trains in Japan can reach speeds of 700 – 800 kp/h, however over in China, scientists are developing a new magnet train that can reach speeds of 2900 kp/h, (1800 mp/h) which could travel the entire diameter of the earth in just SIX HOURS! Approximately four times the speed of the original Maglev! These trains could completely replace commercial airlines and may appear at your local train station in 2040.

4. Holograms
I think pretty much every sci-fi movie or tv show has holograms. Light coming out of an object that creates an image. Today, projectors need a wall or a solid surface in order to show what it is displaying. In the near future however, projectors will slowly turn into holograms, which only need some space to display and not a wall or anything solid. In fact, it is predicted that iphones may become extremely thin holograms, therefore much more efficient and easier to carry.

5. Faster Space Travel
Space travel has been a dream for almost a century. In shows like Star Trek, Doctor Who or Star Wars, it displays humans or other alien races heading into the stars of our own galaxy and discovering or even visting other worlds. These fictional tales maybe fact in the future as scientists are discovering the possible existence of a curious object known as a Tacyon. A theoretical molecule that when used as a fuel source, allows the vehicle to go infinitely faster then the speed of light. This may be used as a fuel source if it exists and could bring you to anywhere in the universe in the blink of an eye.

6. Higher Skyscrapers
Recently, in 2011, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai was named the tallest man made structure on the face of the Earth, Measuring 828 metres tall.
Only two years later, another project was announced. Project Kingdom Tower. A Mega-skyscraper with an estimated height of an insane 1007 metres tall. This building will be smacked in the middle of the desert in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. However, due to the small population of Jeddah, the tiny desert village may be turned into Kingdom City, Along with its symbol, Kingdom Tower. This building and city may be complete in the very nearby year of 2019.

7. New Ways Of Energy
At the moment, the world is constantly being polluted. Even as you use your computer right now, you are adding more pollution to earth. However, new ways of power are expected to come as soon as 2020. At the moment, I myself believe the whole world should be powered by wind and solar energy. But, Scientists around the world are developing a type of energy just as clean and much more efficient, it is known as Fusion. Fusion may completely replace BOTH wind and solar as the clean ways of producing electricity, and with luck, maybe the whole world will be powered by it.

8. Schools become more high tech
Right Now, You might think school is boring. I dont of course, and many students in the future will think the same way I do as technology seeps even deeper into education. By 2021, Most schools in developed countries are predicted to have holograms for educational use. So that learning will no-longer be limited to paper and todays computers. Right Now, It appears that students perform better using technology for sources of education. So who KNOWS how much better students will be with holograms. Not only that, but school playgrounds will also become more high tech. With more trees and beautiful modern playgrounds with some screens to play educational games on its walls.

9. Longer Lifetimes
With better medicine and a future cure for cancer, The Average lifetime in 2100 may just be at least 150 to 200 years old. Not only that, but pets may also live longer as well. Like cats and dogs living for 40 or 50 years. Which is incredible! So dont be worried about your cat eventually passing away if you live in the year 2100, because they may live a whole 3RD of your own life!
